Original buckets

The water wheel is located in a wheel house adjacent to the mill. It is 17ft by 6ft in size and is fed by a high breast shot Pen trough. The wheel is made up of timber buckets fixed to iron spokes, the water discharges through an underground culvert approx. 250ft long.

 

The wheel has been fully restored and is now back in use.
